Taghia is located 2 hours walk from Zaouiat Ahensal, in the province of Azilal, and 40 minutes walk from Tamzazat (the park at the entrance to the Taghia gorges).  To get to Taghia, it takes around 5 hours by taxi from Marrakech then 40 minutes from Park Tamzazat. It is also possible to come by bus from azilal (one bus per day, public transport). There is a road project between Zaouiat and Taghia which is not defended by the inhabitants and which protects the village from the onslaught of tourism.
