Escalation

Climbing is a unique and particular sport and it is the main characteristic of Taghia village. The first routes were opened in the seventies (1970) by the Europeans. Today, the mountains of Taghia are all covered with climbing routes by the most famous Europeans in Europe such as Thivel, Piola, Ravier, Petit, Arbones and so on.

All the routes of Taghia are accessible on foot from the village, except some routes are a bit far like those of Tadrarat and Akka Ntazart and there you can stay in caves for only a few days.
